| General | Cellphones - Term 3 | JT |
| A reminder about changes to how we will respond to students using cellphones next term. 1. Cellphones are not to be used on the school grounds from 1st bell in the morning to the end of school. This applies to any and all areas of the school. 2. Cellphone use includes them being used for music (hint, headphones, AirPods etc will be a giveaway!) 3. Cellphones can only be used in class if the teacher allows it for teaching and learning purposes. 3. In the classroom, teachers will give a general reminder at the start of the class and will confiscate any cellphone used after that. 4. Your cellphone will be returned at the end of the day on the first confiscation. Any further confiscations will require a parent/caregiver to pick it up from school. This will start from Day 1, Term 3. |

| If you think you have what it takes to win cash prizes, if you can sing, dance, play an instrument, have a band, then come and register with Ms Devaroe either in person in the dance studio or via email devaroed@upperhutt.school.nz before the end of this Friday. Auditions for the 7 spots will be on the first Tuesday back at school and UHC's Got Talent is the finale of UHC Week in week 2! |
